fanfiction.net sucks.

Well, things are a little insane right now but I just wanted to drop a line to let you guys know that fanfiction.net's login/uploading is down and has been for a couple of days so that's why I haven't updated RBTL and that's why I won't be updating Some Rise By Sin today (unless you guys want me to post it here since we don't know when the site will be fully functional again).

I promise to respond to reviews and comments and everything soon. Work has kind of gone crazy since Friday. Crazy enough that I'm starting to consider the end of RBTL. I'd like to get to fifty chapters but I'm not sure if I can possibly get there, much less go beyond with my work schedule and everything else I have going on. Plus, now with Some Rise By Sin, the amount of review replies per week has doubled. If I post two chapters of each, I'll have 200 review replies to write in addition to writing RBTL chapters and cleaning up and editing Some Rise By Sin chapters. That's a lot of time devoted to fanfic.

I'm tired.

But I won our Oscar game! Bragging rights for 1 year. :)

awe i can see why you say you're tired. that's a lot of stuff to keep up with...
end of RBTL would be very very sad...but all good things must end eventually i guess...:-\ hmm. maybe finish out what you can now and then if you have time, randomly surprise us with chapters every once in a while...no more set schedules for RBTL, just if you get in the mood to write and post, go for it, and we'll review the hell out of it, and if not, its okay too! =) up to you in the end of course!

annnd i would not object to chapter 3 being posted on here until ffn gets its stuff together!! it'd give me my alice and jasper 'fix' from you for the week haha.

and congrats on winning your oscar game =)

I'm still trying to decide on RBTL. I kind of think I'll go to 50 and then stop. I can feel myself running out of new things to say about Alice and Jasper. Plus, I'm just so busy.

Annnnd, I posted the new ch of SRBS. Enjoy!

Wow. (Once again) that's a lot of review replies to reply to! If it helps, when I review you totally don't have to reply, especially since my review is just 'my gosh that was a beautiful chapter'.

I really hope you don't end RBTL!! I really really really love it!! If it's getting too hard to update twice a week you can just have it on 'hiatus' and not upload for a while. Or upload once a month, or when you have something you want to post. Anyway, that's just my opinion.

Yeah, it's stopping me from doing pretty much anything on the site.

I'm still trying to decide on RBTL. SRBS is different because I have a draft written. But for RBTL, I have to produce chapters the day I post and it looks like I'm just not going to have that kind of time going forward for awhile. I'll give it some more thought.

Even if you don't update often it's better than marking complete, for me at least.

Hehe, yes! I ran out awhile ago. After I take a little break, I'll probably get right back to it. But I might have to significantly cut back on the review replies.

Yeah, that's understandable. I think just adding an A/N saying please review and thanks to all the reviews should suffice. Readers care more about another chapter than a note saying thanks for the review. IMO

So it wasn't just me....I have been trying to log on to ff.net all weekend and gave up. Though I love RBTL, I vote for either putting it on hiatus until you've finished SRBS or post it once in a while as a surprise/treat. You need a life too!

Well, like I told you over e-mail, I'm cutting back to once a week for sure and maybe even less. The chapters are getting harder and harder to think of. Not ideas but...what I want to use the idea to say. I also can hear my original stuff calling me. Fanfic takes up every spare iota of writing time I have.
